Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KitchenPlus mobile application ("App") operated by TOO KitchenPlus.kz ("KitchenPlus", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use KitchenPlus. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
2. Account Registration
- You may create an account using your email address and password, or through Apple ID or Google sign-in.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Description of the Service
KitchenPlus is a family meal planning application that provides:
- Meal calendar planning with customizable meal types
- Recipe creation, browsing, and sharing
- Automatic shopping list generation based on meal plans
- Family management with individual portion coefficients
- Kitchen inventory tracking with expiry date monitoring
- AI-powered features: receipt scanning, recipe recommendations, menu planning, and a kitchen assistant
- Nutritional information (calories, proteins, fats, carbohydrates)
- Recipe videos and media
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
4.1 Plans
KitchenPlus offers three subscription tiers:

4.2 Billing
- Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
- Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
4.3 Refunds
Refund policies are governed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies. We do not process payments directly. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google through their respective support channels.
5. User Content
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including recipes, photos, videos, comments, and ratings ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant KitchenPlus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content within the App for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
5.2 Content Guidelines
You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains spam, advertising, or promotional material not related to cooking or meal planning
- Contains personal information of others without their consent
- Is intentionally misleading or contains false nutritional information
5.3 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our content guidelines. Users may report inappropriate content through the in-app reporting feature. We will review reports and take appropriate action.
6. AI-Powered Features
KitchenPlus uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to provide features such as receipt scanning, recipe suggestions, menu recommendations, and a kitchen assistant.
- AI-generated content (recommendations, translations, nutritional estimates) is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate.
- You should verify nutritional information and allergen data independently, especially if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations.
7. Family Features
- The account holder who creates a family group is the owner and is responsible for managing members and access.
- Family members invited to a group can access shared meal plans, shopping lists, and recipes within that group.
- The family owner can remove members at any time.
- Children's profiles within a family are managed by the adult account holder. No separate accounts are created for children.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
- Create multiple accounts for abusive purposes
- Resell or redistribute the App or its content
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and catalog recipes, is the property of TOO KitchenPlus.kz and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
10. Disclaimers
- Nutritional information: calorie counts and macronutrient data (КБЖУ) are estimates based on our ingredient database and may vary from actual values. They should not replace professional dietary advice.
- Allergens: KitchenPlus does not guarantee completeness of allergen information in recipes. Always check ingredients if you have food allergies.
- Food safety: expiry date tracking in the kitchen inventory is a convenience feature. You are responsible for verifying food safety before consumption.
- "As is" service: the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TOO KitchenPlus.kz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Reliance on nutritional information, AI recommendations, or expiry date tracking
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Any third-party content or services
12. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your data.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Active subscriptions should be cancelled through the respective app store.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
